The dry heat from saunas can provide a wide array of health benefits, ranging from stress relief, to improved cardiovascular performance, flushing toxins, cleansing the skin and even burning a few calories! Overall, after bathing in a sauna, many people simply feel better.
Furthermore, sauna use has been shown to help those affected by a range of conditions including mild depression, rheumatoid arthritis and musculoskeletal pain.
One of the primary functions of a sauna is to induce sweat. The purpose of sweating is not simply to cool you down; it's one of the ways your body rids itself of waste products. It's also one of the best ways to detox, de-stress and relax.
Many of our clients follow their invigorating massage treatment with a period in the sauna. You are very welcome to make use of our state-of-the art infra-red sauna facility during your visit. The facility is available free of charge to clients having treatments lasting one hour or longer. Otherwise, a charge of £10 will apply for a 10 minute session.
